It’s Time to Think Again
Different perspectives shift conversations and lead to new ways of thinking. By introducing new perspectives to the community, we wanted to create a space that would challenge the Baton Rouge community to consider different possibilities and outcomes for everyday concepts. We wanted the inaugural TEDxBatonRouge theme to capture that same ideal and change in conversation.
The Beginning of TEDxBatonRouge
They aren’t sure who said it first. They aren’t sure how long they kept skirting around it. All they know is that by the third time Morgan Almeida and Melissa Thompson met to discuss “potentially” bringing a TEDx event to Baton Rouge, Melissa had already applied for the license.
